  报告人简介:

  Dr Roger Greenberg is an associate professor at AFCRI, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and serves as the Chair of American Cancer Society in DNA Mechanisms in Cancer Study Section; and the program leader of Abramson Cancer Center Breast Cancer Program, the Director of Basic Science at Basser Research Center for BRCA in University of Pennsylvania. His laboratory investigates basic mechanisms of genome integrity maintenance that impact breast and ovarian cancer, focusing on understanding how BRCA dependent DNA double strand break repair mechanisms affect breast and ovarian cancer etiology and response to radio- and chemotherapies, as well as on the relationship between DNA repair dysfunction and bone marrow failure syndromes. He was awarded as Harrington Discovery Institute Scholar-Innovator, Kimmel Scholar. He is reviewer for New England Journal of Medicine,Science,Nature,Nature Communications,Nature Structural and Molecular Biology,Nature Reviews Molecular and Cellular Biology,Cancer Cell, Molecular Cell,Genes & Development,PNAS, Current Biology, EMBO Reports.
