Introduction:
Cristina Magi-Galluzzi, MD, PhD received her medical degree from University of Ancona and her Ph.D. on Oncologic Human Pathology from University of Verona in Italy. She completed AP/CP Residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, followed by a fellowship in in Kidney-Urologic Pathology at Johns Hopkins University. Since 2004, she has served as Director of Genitourinary Pathology in the Department of Pathology at Cleveland Clinic. She is also an associate professor of Pathology at the Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Magi-Galluzzi is one of the recognized experts in US in genitourinary pathology with extensive expertise in oncologic pathology of prostate cancer. She is an active member of many national organizations. She has authored more than 120 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, as well as numerous invited articles and authored or coauthored 14 books.
