报告人简介：

Dr. Tao Wang obtained her first degree in Medicine in China Medical University (Shenyang, P.R. China) and a PhD degree in the Cardiovascular Medicine in Beijing Medical University (now Peking University, Beijing, P.R. China). She practiced as a physician cardiologist in the 3rd Hospital of Peking University between 1986 and 1992. She moved to the University of Cambridge in 1992 as a post-Doctoral Research Associate. She joined the University of Manchester in 2003 as a University Research Fellow. In 2006 she was appointed as a Lecturer with research interest in the molecular basis of genetic cardiovascular diseases. She directs two courses: “Clinical Genetics” and “Human Genetics”, and she is the coordinator for Clinical Genetics teaching program in the School of Medicine, University of Manchester. She sits on the Managing Editorial Board of "Frontiers in Bioscience" and is also Editorial Board member of "Signal Transduction Insights" and journal “Recent Patents on CNS Drug Discovery”.
