The main focus of Dr. Chua’s laboratory is the function of mammalian Sirtuin (SIRT) deacetylase genes, and the intersection between the biology of aging, cancer and chromatin regulation. She is an excellent molecular biologist and published many milestone papers in Cell Nature and Science.
